Skiing's wild Norwegian cousin

Heard of skijoring? If not, you’re in for a wild ride!

What in the world is “skijoring”? It’s derived from the Norwegian word skikjøring which means “ski driving.” In a nutshell, it’s the winter version of water skiing but where the boat would be, picture horses or even sometimes dogs. People really do this! Check out a fun video from Stio of the art of skijoring in Wyoming [at 3:35] & Broncs & Donks share a rockin’ clip of cowboys & skiers in Utah showing us how it’s done. Even Bloomberg profiled this wild sport & gave some wise advice: “Those who’ve never been on skis might want to sit this sport out entirely."
