Meet your First Ladies

DC's Smithsonian helps us get to know over two centuries of First Ladies.

The Smithsonian’s amazing National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., celebrated our nation’s first ladies in an exhibit that they luckily have left online for us to enjoy. “Every Eye is Upon Me: First Ladies of the United States” spans nearly 250 years of history, starting with Mrs. Washington herself. We’re not exactly sure why the exhibit from last year doesn’t include the current first lady yet but maybe they’ll update it soon!
