For a toddler named Grey, appreciation is everything and his precious "thank you's" went viral. World War Two veteran Captain Tom Moore at 100 years old is now “Sir Tom” after being honored with British knighthood for an astounding charitable feat. During England’s shutdown, Moore set out to raise $1,200 for COVID-19 relief by walking laps in his yard…with his walker. Instead he raised $40 million! Watch his moving knighthood ceremony with Queen Elizabeth II from NBC.

Sir Tom wasn’t the only senior in the UK having the time of his life lately. After four months of lockdown, a nursing home staffer wanted to brighten the lives of their residents. Check out the results from his photo shoot with senior citizens re-enacting iconic album covers. The project worked – the residents have reportedly been in fits of laughter seeing their cover shoots on “the telly” in England.
